Installation of DUBLEZ Product using Foam Tape

Our products can be mounted on the wall using foam tape, which we recommend as a type of mounting accessory.

Before starting the installation with foam tape, it is necessary to read a few important points that we recommend everyone who plans to stick a product from our workshop on the wall to read.

Important information before installation:

1. Consider carefully where the product will be placed. For products consisting of multiple parts, we recommend laying out the product on the floor to observe the placement of parts relative to each other and the overall size of the product.
2. For freshly painted walls, we recommend waiting 30 days after painting so that the foam tape holds firmly on the wall.
3. For rougher plasters, we recommend attaching the product to the wall with nails or assembly adhesive. Mounting with foam tape may not be suitable.
4. We always recommend installing the product with a partner. One person will apply and stick the product to the wall, while the other will guide from a distance, ensuring the product is correctly and straightly applied.

1. Installation of DUBLEZ Product Using Foam Tape:

1. Measure the exact place where we will mount the product.
2. Peel off the thin, protective, green film on the foam tape.
3. Now we can stick the product to the wall. Be careful to place the product straight! Once stuck, it will no longer be possible to move or reposition it.
4. It is important to press the product (from the front side) firmly against the wall at all places where the foam tape is located, to ensure the tape properly bonds with the wall.
5. Wait 24 hours for the adhesive in the foam tape to reach full strength.
6. Afterward, press the product again by hand at all places where the foam tape is located.

1.1 Foam Tape is Pre-applied

If your product has pre-applied foam tape on the other side, then the installation is very simple. Foam tape is generally found on smaller variants of products, or on those whose lower weight allows such a method of mounting. Proceed according to point 1.
 

1.2 Foam Tape is Not Pre-applied

Foam tape can also be ordered separately here. 1 piece of foam tape represents 1 meter divided into 10 separate 10 cm long strips. The tape can be cut into shorter pieces with scissors if necessary.

If you have purchased a product or a size variant of our product that does not include pre-applied foam tape, you can buy it separately and comfortably apply it to the product from the other side at home. To handle the application like a pro, we have prepared examples for you, thanks to which everyone can really manage the application of foam tape!

We try to apply the tape at strategic places so that the tape is applied evenly throughout the product. Thus, every part of the product is sufficiently stuck to the wall and no part of it protrudes from the wall. The tape needs to be firmly pressed onto the product. If possible, do not apply the tape too close to the edge of the product, but at least 1 mm from the edge of the product, so it is not visible from the side after sticking.

After applying the tape to the product, proceed according to point 1.
