Installation of DUBLEZ Wall Clocks
Video guide for DUBLEZ clock installation
- Place the clock face-up in front of you.
- To install the hands, first unscrew the small brass screw on the mechanism’s front.
- Unpack hands from the bag. the hour hand (shorter with a larger hole) and the minute hand (longer with a smaller hole). Remove any protective film if present.
- On the hands may be protective film. If present, carefully remove it. Black hands have a transparent film. Silver hands may have blue film or none. Gold and wooden hands do not have film.
- Mounting the hands:
- Insert the hour hand first, pressing gently around its base for a secure fit. Our tip: press around the perimeters, "semicircles," do not press the ends of the hands to avoid bending them.
- Then, insert the minute hand into the groove on the mechanism.
- Place the brass screw on top to secure both hands.
- Checking and Adjusting the Hands: Look at the clock from the side to ensure the hands don't cross. If they do, slightly bend the minute hand at the base (not at the end of the hand).
- Choosing and Installing the Battery:
- Use a high-quality AA alkaline battery with a voltage between 1.3 - 1.7 V. Avoid rechargeable, old, or zinc-chloride batteries, as these may cause malfunction.
- Insert the battery following the polarity indicators on the mechanism.
- Setting the time: - Set the clock to 12:00 by aligning the hands, then use the black wheel on the back of the mechanism to adjust to the correct time.
- Once all steps are complete, hang the clock on the wall using the steel hook, such as on a nail.
